Nofollow vs Dofollow Links – How to decide

Nofollow vs Dofollow HTML anchor links are important factors in SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It can put significant influence on SERP ranking of a particular website. When a search engine bot crawls a website, it can consider the anchor links on a page content to decide the backlinks (also known as incoming links and outbound links) from/to the page.

See what Matt Cutts says in Webmaster Tools Content Guidelines about nofollow vs dofollow links in website contents.

Kolkata Durga Puja 2014

After attending the office on Saptami, me and Priyanka started the kolkata durga puja pandel hopping for this year. We took a bus from Kestopur to Shyambazar and then started walking towards Bagbazar. In the year of 2011 we started with North and Central Kolkata. But this year our plan is to visit the main durga puja pandels of North Kolkata only. We started with Jagat Mukherjee Park, and then visited Bagbazar Pally Puja, Bagbazar Sarbojonin, Kumortumi Park, Ahiritola Park.

Hypocrisy Of The Indian Society

Before anyone starts criticising this post, I would like to mention that I love my country very much and this post is not a try to disrespect or criticise India. Rather, it’s more of a fact that people (obviously they are aware of it!) should bother about. It points out the inequality or imbalance of thinking of people, especially hypocrites. This is a sarcastic take on the hypocrisy of the Indian society. This post may seem offensive to some people and damn they may be the f*****g culprit for whom is this post.

Web Design Trends 2014

Web design can not be rephrased as website design now a days. This particular term involves many techniques and set of skills. This includes HTML and CSS coding, graphic design, etc. along with some other specific technology. This is a continuously emerging and improving area of web development. Web design trends change very frequently to deliver the best and most friendly environment that benefits to the end user experience.

As the year 2014 is already near to its last quarter, it’s a good time to review the web design trends 2014 has. Web designers had a great time till now with lots of new ideas. Some of the ideas didn’t worked well, some of them really made a big impact in designing techniques, some of them still getting polished and refined by designers worldwide. Typically what happens, the ideas and techniques that delivers better impact to end user experience remains in the market, while the other gets sunk after a period of time. That’s why it’s called trends 🙂

So let’s review what web design trends 2014 we have so far.

Bangkok and Krabi – Thailand Tour

After a long period of without vacation we got a holiday gift from my office. It was a 5 days Krabi and Bangkok tour arranged via makemytrip. We generally love to go for the hillside during any vacation, but this time we enjoyed this foreign trip a lot. Bangkok is a very planned, neat and clean, busy city. It has lots of hotels, skyscrapers, lots of cars and people, but still very disciplined.

Independence day of India – Celebration at Office

We did celebrate our 68th Independence Day of India at our office. 15th August was a national holiday and our office was closed as well. But the office was decorated on 14th August. We gathered on 16th for some photo sessions. The whole office was well decorated with tri-colored Indian national flag, balloons, and ribbons.
